Born and raised in the heart of New Orleans, Elizabeth Jamie Katz is a Christian children’s author and designer whose stories sparkle with whimsy, warmth, and timeless truth. A graduate of The Academy of the Sacred Heart and Loyola University, where she earned a degree in Communications, Jamie has always had a passion for storytelling, faith, and beauty.

Alongside her husband, she co-authored several acclaimed books on Christian financial planning, including the best-selling Money Came By The House The Other Day. She also spent several years homeschooling their two children, an experience that deepened her love for nurturing faith through creativity and imagination.

Today, Jamie pours that same heart into writing and designing faith-based picture books for children, blending art, scripture, and storytelling. Her celebrated series, The Princess, The Pearls, & The Pekingese, invites young girls into a world of grace and wonder, reminding them that they are God’s precious princesses, deeply loved and cherished.
